What is a timed task?

Timed task in hotel operations
A timed task is how a standard reaches the floor in Mise. When a standard is published and assigned, it appears on the right person's phone as a task with a countdown against its target time. The steps are grouped into four phases (Prepare, Perform, Verify, Release) with reference photos, and some steps are photo gates.
Why time matters
A target time turns a standard into something that can be planned and measured. Tasks that consistently run late point to an unrealistic target or a method that needs work. Tasks that run early may be skipping steps. Either way, time makes the standard visible.
